The program provides a plan to reduce the country’s dependence on oil, diversify the economy, and develop sectors of public services such as health, education, infrastructure and tourism. In particular, the creation of a huge tourist center on the Red Sea has been planned, and is expected to increase religious tourism in the north and south of the country, passing from the current 8 million to 30 million pilgrims a year, through significant infrastructural and logistical interventions.
